The lesson to learn from 2017 is that profit is only guaranteed if you sell. Tether or not, there are lots of risks. If it starts doing to 100k maybe somewhere down the road it will be heavily regulated or banned by many countries before it gets there.
It depends on where you entered but how about you take out what you invested, and then some, and leave some going for potential further increases.
