so i want to share with you guys something i've realized about dip buying recently:

now, don't get me wrong. i've started buying too early on dips before but the companies i invest in always have solid FA so i eventually make money as long as i wait. but clearly i make less and it takes longer. my main point is that usually when a dip occurs there often seems to be some consolidation and at least 1 more drop before it returns to going up. i think this is the best place to start buying, so you get a nice discount and if it goes lower it's not a big deal since it has already gone down a decent amount twice. it means that first position that would have been bought in too high now doesn't exist, and allows you to buy even deeper into a dip of necessary. just something to think about, i know most of you are gamblers and not buy and hodl swing traders, but i have yet to lose money this way (worst case scenario i just wait).

This likely isn't what you're looking for but I've been "swinging" TQQQ with my leftover margin. I try hard not to hold a balance overnight to avoid interest fees, which means I have to sell. No, divvies are good for building wealth bc they compound the number of shares which compounds the divvy. It’s a great way to build risk adverse wealth over a long time period.

And by not touching your principal I mean you don’t have to incur a capital gains tax for selling shares nor do you risk selling shares during a crash. If you got great companies the divvy should remain intact even through recessions
