Realistically speaking, when should you really sell?

>When you turn a decent profit from your initial investment?
>When you make enough to buy a house?
>When you make enough to retire?

I know the general consensus here is to hold hold hold and keep holding, but you have to sell at some point eventually, right?

I've been holding since early 2017. Didn't blink once at the big crash, but now I'm starting to consider getting out. Or not, who knows. I can wait another 5 years.

When your investment has realized 90%+ of it’s fundamental value

If you can afford it, just hold. If you have a life changing event, for example retiring or buying a house, cash out. Try to never completely cash out though.

s2f has not been wrong yet : 288k for this run.

I'm a lazy trader, didn't touch my portfolio once since buying in 2017. If I sell, I probably won't bother going back in. In a way this is good because it means I'm not prone to panicking, plus it also means no taxes due in my country if you don't trade too intensively.

No idea what this means lol. I'm at 20k now from a 1k initial investment. Good money, but nothing that will fundamentally make life easier yet.

>>25696371
That's my current thinking. But eager to see how others feel.

You never "cash out", you use these markets to generate/lose wealth indefinitely.

you're asking the question like a total retard (genetically).

The way to ask the question is: When do you want to buy cash.

Biden and Harris are ceos of "US Dollar Corporation" now. Do you have faith in them to buy their product?

when you have enough to retire for 2-3 years. so for me about 150-250k. stack that shit in usdc and get gains until the next bear market buying opportunity.

keep some ETH in case the flippening happens, and have some small moonshots. I'm heavy exposed into nfts, just bought a small bag of dgcl after their IEO on acdx, easy minting is easy money

I get that but it sounds like a lot of work.

I'm European so that's not my problem. But it's a good point that printing machines go brrr is part of the reason that crypto's are where they are. And I don't see how the US would change their approach short term. So thanks, good point.

Buy a house. Unlike your stupid electronic funny money, real state is ACTUALLY scarce.
