>tether is supposed to have 1:1 backing with US dollars
>tether prints tokens without having the reserves meaning that it's not 1:1 backed anymore
>tether is used as if it had 1:1 backing when making transactions on exchanges

tell me how this ends up without the whole crypto market blowing up

>tether (fiat) is fake
>therefor the market must tank
Quite the opposite my naive retard. Fake fiat leads to massive commodity price inflation, look at USD in 2020. World is shutting down and stocks+gold skyrocket.

Tether collapsing will have very little impact on a trillion dollar market cap. Just buy more when it dips. These are still early stages of crypto before it goes fully mainstream.

This is how banking worked for over a thousand years.
You don't need 1:1 backing unless there's a massive bankrun (I'm talking 75%+ of all Tether being withdrawn).
Even traditional banks have less backing on your savings account than Tether does.
