Yeah, I think asking for a raise is a no-brainer for me. And if I decline taking on the role, hopefully I can still keep my job. He might go scorched earth and just fire me, but I don't think he can because we're already so short-staffed. I have a development background I don't know jack about being a project manager although the role would look nice on my linkedin. Don't you need certs to be a PM?
