the only way for crypto to get JUST'd in such a way would be for the power ALL AROUND THE WORLD AT THE SAME TIME to go out. The only scenario I can even think of for such an event would be some kind of gamma ray burst or ridiculously huge solar flare.

And if that happened, crypto getting 51%'d is the least of our worries. Fiat would be completely rekt as well. So would stocks. Pretty much everything except shiny boomer rocks that you physically hold yourself. And that is hardly solace when such an event would cause the collapse of the entire world into anarchy, as well as possibly leading to some form of mass extinction from the deadly interstellar radiation showering down on everyone and everything.

I, as a European still look up to the usa. Honestly. Look at how your government does NOT make it hard for successful businesses to flourish. Our governments make it impossible almost, thanks to ridiculous taxes. EU has one priority 'fair distribution of wealth'... meaning, they will silently and hiddelny raise all sorts of taxes until the populus are all equally poor.

This is actually quite likely, if not inevitable in the long run, as scientists predict. If they are able to prevent or protect essential systems from going down, then the outcome will be exactly the same as Y2k: Spending billions of dollars to prevent a problem which the average person will retroactively claim never existed.
