Crypto is never mentioned on big Bang theory because it's not "mainstream nerdy". In real life, 2 theoretical physicists (assumed to be in the top 50-100 worldwide in their field, because no one gives a fuck about physicists if they aren't) would not be sharing an apartment across the hall from a fucking waitress. Penny would not be able to afford to live there.

Also, Sheldon would almost certainly just become a crypto millionaire turbo neet by like season 2 or 3, since there's no way someone (supposedly) that intelligent just "missed" crypto or couldn't see its value. He's even shown to have scripting/programming abilities, and I'm almost certain a real world Sheldon would be developing arb bots

Howard would not be chosen to go to space because of his height and medical issues (asthma etc)
