The entire purpose of the stock market is to drive money/resource allocation to the businesses/people with the most future growth potential, this process would be irrelevant if AI could calculate the value of providing those resources better than any human alive.

But yeah the numbers really don't make sense, the market is broken, it's not about investing anymore but rather wealth preservation. Most stocks have priced in literally decades of earnings, even centuries worth for some of the tech ones

Tesla is one of the cherry picked few, a few normies are in it but not many and the average Joe can’t invest in the market cause they’re broke, it’s not like Norman bought Tesla at $50 and is rolling in profits, they may have followed Elon now he’s popular and they’re up 2-300% on their 1k position and even then doubt they can hold, they’re too emotional, they wanna withdraw and consooom, they’ve been fucked by covid , they have very little they may have a retirement account that they don’t trade, tech stocks and crypto are for the few who understand the market and have the discipline to hold.
