yeh whites are over half, but they don’t really stick together as much here it’s all about dope in there, in my unit over 3/4 of 80 men would shoot up regularly. We got told by the medstaff at induction to be carful cause 1/3 in prison had hep b, they share the same needle which is chopped down and sharpened on concrete outside till the metal basically disiinigrates, I had a cellmate that was good but a junkie and he’d be shooting up regularly and having dope in the cell, the needle was so blunt you’d hear a loud pop whenever he got it in his vein. If it was found in our cell We would both have gotten punished and likely time added as nobody ever accepts responsibility for there fuckups and if you ever even say it’s not yours, you dogged you’d be stomped once the doors open forget about it.

The drug of choice is suboxone strips so they’re tiny, you could get fucked up from a dose that looks like a piece of sticky tape and smaller then your finger print , they dissolve in water so they use tap water to mix and then inject or snort it. But they mostly come in visits drones drop packages off from time to time also which is hit and miss, cause the strips are so tiny and can’t be detected by a sniffer dog it’s tough to stop and to be fair they let the prisoners run themselves, only if too many breaches are seen on the cameras which are everywhere will they respond, ie too many people are seen shooting up, or dropped packages are seen on camera. They don’t like inmates with needles cause they could jab the guards, other then that the guards don’t care what happens. Each unit has 1-2 people that run it, almost always the one closest to the dope and whatever they say mostly goes, people get beat up over drug debts most days at least one. Packages and gear get dropped around as people take the bins out or go to the shitty work jobs some inmates have, if you’re trusted you can get work, but then you have fiends pressuring you to carry drugs and messages to others risking your time cause at anytime on the walk way guards stop and strip search people, guys have been known to put suboxone in their fore skin as it’s not checked, then a fiend will shoot up with it. It ain’t pretty
