They beg & plead for money from the community every other day while hiding multimillion-dollar donations from huge corporation that sustain their operation almost entirely.
You'll also notice that the "board" of many of these charities and nonprofits is stacked with very wealthy people who are obviously there to push their own influence.
With enough creative paperwork, any grant or donation can be routed any direction, including into the salaries of its 'volunteer' board.
