Housing crash will happen because bitcoin will become the defacto store of value, sucking capital from real estate, Gold and bonds. The next 10 years will be bad for RE.

>housing crash
1/4 of the dollars ever created were done so this past year. USD inflation is only going to make real value property much more expensive as time goes on. Also investors and foreign buyers who don't even need to be an American citizen to get a house here are making sure the supply created by baby boomers dying will get bought up immediately for high prices still.
If you didn't already buy a house it's only going to get much worse when you try to buy one later on.

>>25306944
You don't live in a bitcoin, so houses still have a feature attracting buyers that makes them fundamentally different from gold as a store of value.
I could see bitcoin hurting gold, but not real estate, and definitely not hurting real estate to a degree more than USD inflation and foreign buyers are keeping prices increasing.

This. Housing will only go up from here. People look at high real estate prices and think, “oh it’s another 2008 bubble,” but it’s not. This time it’s just inflation, being driven by insane government mobey printing.

>> No.25307471

>>25307300
Yeah, also we already had 2008 in the very recent past which got lenders away from stupid shit like no money down loans to people with bad credit and no steady income. The "housing crisis" if any this time around is more centered around renters getting evicted.

ALL I WANT IS TO BUY A MORTGATE FREE APPARTMENT WITH MY CRYPTO GAINS BUT THEY PREDICT RE IS GOING UP ANOTHER 10-20% NEXT YEAR

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

>> No.25308157

Yeah it's unironically never going down. If it did dip a little, there's legions of people who have been waiting years for a 'slowdown/dip' that never came and are ready to buy

I bought a city apartment for 320k in 2016. I now have an offer for it for 580k. 4(!) years later. I don't see it going down either.
