Yes hello, is this /biz/?
So I invested 1000 dollars between three companies I liked about 10 years ago just for fun and now it’s 5000. What the fuck do I do? I just accepted that the money was gone and didn’t think about it, then found the info for it earlier today. Should I take it or should I reinvest it into something else?

Sell, pay taxes, /pmg/

>pay taxes
This would suck, being that the gov’ment pays me an assload to take classes as long as I make no taxable income. I’d lose a good chunk of a few separate grants, which would be losing money overall.

if in the US you won't pay tax on long term capital gains and if you have 0 income will still be under the taxable limit

Really? I was told that it would be taxed if I sold it (I am in the US). What makes it not a taxable income?
