Its becoming more appealing by the day. The only reason why I haven't done it yet is because I don't want my parents to feel pain.

IT consultancy.
I did a meme degree in information science and didnt learn a single usef thing. Shouldve just gone the cs path.

You can get junior level jobs in the IT field if you have a portfolio even if your degree isn't directly CS. Just follow some tutorials for some shitty websites and back end projects and put that on a public github, recruiters love that.

Anon, posting this in case you are srs.

Life as we experience it is a struggle because that is the way we have structured our reality. You have the power to choose to not pay any attention to this nonsense and to enjoy your experience of life, however this chooses to manifest. There are hurdles and a challenge to overcome, and any result in the future from your present experience is neither 'good' nor 'bad' but simply what happens. The only thing that defines your experience is your thoughts. Use this time to awaken to the beauty of reality and try to grasp some semblance of understanding of what we truly are. You are not a 'person' who is 'unaccomplished' and 'unworthy' due to job application rejections, that's such an absorb thought pattern but one that is all too common in our fucked up brainwashed experiences of reality. You and I and everyone here are deeply connected and will return to a singularity when are individual experiences are completed. You are not alone in feeling alone. There are many, many, many, options out there to pursue but to allow yourself the ability to follow them you must release yourself from the constructs you have created in your mind and expand your awareness. What do you enjoy anon? What do you love? What is TRULY stopping you from pursuing this from any given avenue? Are you married? Do you have kids? If not, then you truly are FREE to pursue whatever you choose.

FUCK money and the constructs it creates. MATERIALS will not bring you happiness.

just shut up doomer, as long as you keep trying, even if you dont make it, you learn new things, what works and what doesnt, making you more likely to make it every single day that passes
>>25124170
learning cs will definitely make you more desirable, it will generally help you in the long term because youll be able to freelance some sidejobs, but if youre in a time pickle and dont want to invest time learning for now, look into learning sysadmin skills, some bash scripting, server stack management, etc.. Its not programming heavy, and maybe you should statt throwing more cold applications to local businesses, give them a call and just ask if they need IT
