A lot of people have adopted this mentality because it's a good way to have guaranteed gains. I am not a Bitcoin maxie and own very little and I'm doing just fine. A lot of people who invest in alts don't diversify, aren't smart enough to understand white papers -- take time to compare projects, FOMO into shit as it's booming, and eventually get caught in market greed cycle and just pink wojack away.
