I've delegated my GRT. Now what? What's the return investment when doing this? Excuse my ignorance with this I'm a bit smooth-brained just trying to understand it.

You'll notice your delegation stack will increase a small amount every epoch. it varies depending on who you are indexing with but my APY indexing with one of the most popular ones is looking to be around 15%.

Once again average returns are kinda unknown but if you maintain what im currently getting, on 4k GRT thats 3 tokens a day = 1115 tokens a year for doing absolutely nothing. if GRT moons this year that may be more than pocket change
