You are still early, when you are done playing with your defi toys buy the grown ups crypto currency, actually used in the real world to conduct private, cheap, and fast transactions

What happens if the SEC kills off everything? Can Monero survive? Is it swappable on any DEXs?

monero nodes can be behind tor, atomic swaps with bitcoin coming soon

Monero isn't centralized, isn't tied ot a company, and fails the howey test so there's no fucking way we get XRP'd. There could be other restrictions in the future but wtf are they really going to do? Ban ring signatures?

That's the question. What can they do? Bill in the senate making ownership of XMR illegal because something something terrorists patriot act?

If they did ever do that, XMR should immediately hardfork to become ZMR and then just keep doing it indefinitely every time they pass a new bill lol.

The thing about banning monero would be that the actual technology is just math and cryptography, they would need to ban encryption. It would turn into the iPhone lawsuit all over where the government is asking apple to give them a backdoor or something.

stop spamming this trash on our board. XMR can be tracked.

Monero can’t be banned. We have decades of legal precedents showing that encryption always wins. You also can’t ban p2p software, which is why torrents and tor are still widely used. Also this is the same fud bitcoin had from early on.
