Obviously, and that's why I got involved in the project and why I haven't sold a single fucking zeerpee. However, the fact remains that this is not good for Ripple and XRP and no amount of stupid memes or thread lore will change that.

This assumes that things have to happen right now. That is not the case. While things are certainly in place for Ripples adoption and for a hard turn toward Globalism, for good or for ill, the individuals and organizations who believe in and work toward Globalism are patient. BTC and ETH could be used as proto bridge currencies, as inefficient as they are. Doing so would give massive power to China, and I think we're in accord in stating that Biden and others desperately want China not just in ascendency but out-and-out ascendant.

Like said, I still believe in the project but I think it's important that we're honest about where we're at right now: a very dangerous place. I know that there will be retards who will blow this off, write their little fanfictions, and post their tired, recycled /x/ memes and post psychedelic pics. I get that. Some people are here because they want a club house. However, if you're here to talk about XRP and do so based on what's actually happening then you owe it to yourself to be honest about what this is, and what this is is bad news for us.

Gary Gensler was an early pick for the Biden administration and he's no friend of Ripple or XRP. He has stated in the past that he thinks XRP is a security and not a currency.
