If you were autistically interested and knowledgeable about a certain industry, to the extent that you could prove your decision making regarding the state of the market, its public companies, and their valuations was on par with institutional analysts, but that industry routinely underperformed the index, would you bother?

I know the ins and outs of many of the players' balance sheets, operations, and projects, I have about 5 related spreadsheets I manage, I keep updated on earnings and presentation transcripts, and I stay up to date and for the most part ahead of industry trends. I can predict quarterly earnings fairly well. But it all feels like wasted effort because I'd be better served ignoring that information and resulting trading strategies and simply pile in on some tech heavy index. If you were in the same situation what would you do?

You have to take them all the reasons not to change the platform. The main argument is that all the content is only the old site and the users you follow.
