This. The $20 was a result of a slow buildup rather than some crazy back to back 30% blow off top kind of pumps. It was such a disappointment. The whole god damn DeFi pump was because of Chainlink mostly. I think a lot of us were expecting LINK to go to $40 and then dump back down to $15. i think sergey's dumps are being underestimated. 1mil a week is around 1.2% a month circ supply increase or ~14% a year increase which is insane inflation. by comparison ethereum went up closer to 3% and XRP closer to 2% this year.

combined with ethereums gas prices hurting link forcing OCR/THS to be waited on for cheaper contract fee's and possible delays on big partner development due to covid such as oracles integration. its just a clusterfuck right now but you'd be crazy to bet against it

IMO the trend line is exactly that. A trend line, not a golden barrier that if breached plummets link in to the abyss. It is an indicator of an upward trend and has deviated from the previous support before the July bubble and is still on an upward trajectory in the long term.

This i agree is not a good indicator. Although, as BTC is hitting a historical ATH with LINK not appreciating as quickly, the BTC/LINK pair is bound to look worse. It simply is too early to see whether LINK will bounce back. The daily volume is looking mediocre but we are not in alt season yet and if previous data shows anything, it shows that LINK bounces back hard.
