I'm 19, a college student, I live with my single mother and we have €80k (about $100k) in our bank account. How can we invest this money?

4-6 months of spending in a savings account to serve as an emergency fund. Put the rest in $VTSAX. Don't risk your mom's money on dumb shit, once you have some disposable income you can YOLO to your hearts desire on shitcoins.

Are you renting or do you own your home? Does your Mom have a good pension?

You're probably gonna get horrible gambling-tier responses. Put maybe 25% in long term govt bonds or your country"s equivalent of the S&P 500 and 50% in shares of large cap stable companies. Leave the rest in your savings account as an emergency fund.

Crypto is a scam unless you hold for years. And TSLA is a banger of a stock and literally can’t go down because electric cars are literally the future and eventually Elon musk will be a household name and his cars will be like Ford and Chevy and Toyota.

My mother owns half of it, the other half belongs to my father who I think is not willing to let it go
Also mom still works, with her salary plus alimony we have an income close to $50k/year

Divorce is rough - but let's stick to finances. Personally, in the situation that you describe, my priority would be to ensure living in a property that is owned within the inhabiting family. If it is possible to "buy-out" the other half from your Father, that might be a good idea.

Otherwise, I would say your focus should be on keeping money for your studies at school (if it costs money in your country) and on establishing a retirement fund. Regarding a retirement fund, index funds are ideal, in my opinion and Vanguard is the best option for a "set-and-forget" mentality.

Due to the significant differences between Eurozone countries regarding safety nets, pensions, and post-secondary education; we would need to know the country before giving further advice. For example, in some countries an emergency fund might be absolutely necessary as >>24931495 or >>24931763
describes, or less important than establishing a secure safe shelter/home/property.

Don't listen to this utter retard.
Investing in the stock market at this point is utterly retarded. They will pull the plug at one point and it will crash down hard.
Meanwhile Crypto is undervalued.

Buy BTC and some precious metals. (Like 500€ worth of physical silver) and some other good coins.
Look forward to what will happen, not to what people did the last 40 years.
And most importantly don't listen to shitcoin scam shills or retards who tell you to buy fucking stocks. The Stock market will propaply rip another 50% higher.
But will you get out on time, before the 80% crash comes?
That's the question. Become your own central bank. That is my advice
