without manufacturing and oil refineries to run trucks its gonna be hard to keep regional states supplied. the farming means nothing when you can get a belt for the 100k tractor cuz they cant be found or manufactured. think about all the bearings we use in everything. fuel storage is good for short term but a sustained war would see madmax levels of fuel shortages.
i dont have a proper answer but anons stacking coins ammo and food/med is always a good idea even if nothing happens you are holding real items of value that can sustain you

I'm kinda worried about that myself. Seems like all we have is a small percentage of the population that are preppers and the rest is service economy. We don't have any industry to speak of really. On the other hand, is China's industry much better? They're making a lot of plastic shit and some useful stuff but a lot of it is geared towards quantity over quality. They often plagiarize intellectual property instead of inventing it themselves, which is another weakness in terms of self sufficiency. Would China maintain it's manufacturing sector through retooling after trade relations break down, or would it just decay like the US's service sector would at that point?

Probably not since americans aren't fond of working in factories for pennies an hour building shit they can't afford to own. You're the wealthy person wanting to trade jobs with the servants. It seems attractive until you have to do their work for their pay and then you remember why you hired them in the first place.

Automation has been one of the root causes of the deflationary forces the Fed keeps trying to fight with money printing. But it doesn't really work. Jobs now require fewer bodies and money printing just goes to equities that the already wealthy have access to primarily.
I think trying to label periods of time as inflationary or deflationary often misses the point. We are getting destabilization from wage stagnation and wealth concentration.

With tbe last stimulus they could have given every american 30k. Thats what the motherfuckers SHOULD HAVE DONE if it was TRULY the plague that was going to kill us all! Imagine that. This. Of course, being self sufficient is always a better life in the long run but, as the boomers discovered, by utilizing slave labor and empire building one can have a few decades of unearned prosperity and wealth. Now that period is long gone and their children have been kicked out of the spot all the wealth and cheap imported goods were being funneled to by the most psychopathic least meritocratic people as always happens when given enough time and enough unearned wealth imbalance accumulates in a society

You know, a lot of the consOOming people do is caused by manipulation to get them to consume. A huge portion of the 23.6% of all dollars in existence that they just printed in the last year is going towards marketing campaigns, new initiatives, and complex schemes just to get people to consume. I'd rather have that money go to people who just save it until they need to buy it, or even splurging it on whatever pleasures them is better than this sickening media marketing industrial complex we have governing our minds right now.

>having our own economy back to manufacturing and energy production will likely require a non fiat currency
The jobs don't exist anymore. The only reason they exist anywhere is that in certain parts of the world humans are just barely cheaper than robots. The only way to "bring them back" is to weaken the dollar to third world status which is one outcome of Fed money printing.
Increasing fiat does not solve the problem. It makes it even worse by destabilizing society. The potential for unrest gets worse when larger and larger segments of the population have no "skin in the game".

For people who really know the industry, it might be better to carefully choose individual stocks, but for the average casual, is there really anything wrong with buying them, besides losing some e-street cred on /pmg/?

But I'm old, and my time is almost done. If the next generation sees fit to tear it all down that's really none of my business.

I'd rather the people get the money directly as well, but I don't trust poor people to handle money well since they apparently haven't so far. Shut up boomer

>> No.24918138

the debt aversity is the main key.

Businesses take on enormous debt and the risk that goes with it. But they pass the risk on to shareholders, owners, creditors. It's not your debt, it belongs to the business and businesses absolutely should be in debt. Because you're gambling in an extremely risky game when you go into business, and you should bet other people's money whenever possible. So one of the biggest secrets to going into business is to let other people take the risk via debt while you reap most of the rewards and funnel them into personal accounts that aren't at risk by the business.

A person should generally avoid debt unless it will unironically make them money. But even then they're engaged in business, not just debt for no reason.

/pmg/ already understands how to save
and they understand that fiat is worthless

Those are some of the first rungs on the ladder to building wealth. But if you truly believe fiat is worthless why not borrow it, risk it, gamble with it? It's worthless, so the game is to see if you can turn it into something valuable. And it is just a game. You need to be playing with money like it's worthless, and you should be playing with other people's money whenever possible because you won't ever earn enough by yourself for your games to matter or be worth the risks.

/pmg/ fails on a couple other points. Primarily on 'exploiting' others. I.e. helping others by getting them to work towards a common goal in exchange for a share of their labor and produce. Also on helping society and others in general. Businesses have to help people or they fail. You honestly have to want to help or you can't make money. Not much anyways.

nope, because if I succeed they get part of my winnings for doing nothing but taking on my risk. Which is either insured or covered by bankruptcy laws anyways. I'm not killing people. Hes the fucking president anf he can do a lot of things to get what he "wants" like a half trillion dollst gibs program for niggers and only niggers which he did. If trump "wanted" that money to go to the people then he could have done it. Just like he could have built the wall. Just like he could have drained the swamp. Just like he could have done so many other things.

And with that I'm admit the political talk has gone too far. I like trump. I really do. But hes a weakling coward and fuck him. He cares more about minorities, pandering, and virtue signalling, than about the white people that voted for him.

Boomer auction house, on live auctioneers. Yeah there are fakes mixed into the auctions all the time, especially the flags and medals. If you know how the 1939 version of the iron cross was designed (swastika, 1939 on front, nothing on back except 1813), then you're off to a good start. Usually you can perceive build quality through pictures, and if something seems sketchy don't buy it. It should look high quality. But I've been buying guitars and shit online for years so I've acquired the "sight" so to speak.

The compagny has absolutely not interacted at all with anyone, no news or anything, they're not even drilling and yet it went 180% in one fucking month. I'm a bit biased since I'm fucking salty, had only 100$ in it, wanted to have a 500$ position this month. Market cap is 33, higher than vangold. At this point, its clear its people taking a bet, hoping it won't go down. Both crypto and PM's are seen as competition for gov Fiat.

Not a huge percent now, but if Normie's start getting into it, you know a desperate government would add more regulations for buying and selling, increase capital gains taxes and any other number of hurdles to investing. They'd rather you just keep cash in the bank so they can steal it via inflation or in stocks so you can fund big business's failures

yeah as panman said>>24936097 people probably don't know what they're investing into. The thing is, if they do really restart the production, they will win the bet since they have a fuckton of silver underground and a mill. The market cap will instantly explode. Its one of the few penny stock with good resources.
Can't touche bayhorse, my moral forbidd me from investing into anything related to heavy debt. If febuary come and KS is still at this level, I'll just consider them out of my PF (only have 2k share). A bit annoying since I only have 5 position, 4 if KS doesnt drop and I don't touch it again. Will just add a uranium stock then.

Christ guys come on... Buy the rumour sell the news is about the good news being PRICED INTO the stock during the run up to the news being released. In the case of Puregold production has been priced in FOR 12 MONTHS now. Did you think they'll just multibag the day first pour happens? Once the news happens, the initial driving force of share price appreciation is gone, so the stock may fall. In the case of Puregold you're literally at the second peak of the Lassonde Curve.

HOWEVER, Puregold has 2 things going for it. Firstly The rise in price of gold is not fully priced in as nobody knows what prices we'll see in the future for certain, so cashflow may be significantly higher. This applies to all producers. Secondly, PGM has very good exploration potential and a very good team to unlock it.
