it’s always shitted on for no reason by this board. if you actual look at it, it pretty much fulfills what satoshi wanted bitcoin to be

yes. it has actual adoption and it doesn't cost 15 bucks to send 10 bucks of crypto.

a rising tide floats all boats; if btc shoots up this year due to brand recognition with all the normies it will take other cryptos with it, including bch

Satoshi is Adam Back... You mean it fulfills what Roger Ver wanted: it was made so his dream of unbanked niggers in Africa could buy coffee using BCH.

If you just think about the SoV versus "I need muh cheap spendability NOW because I'm a high time preference drama queen", it was obvious which of the two would go on to moon and set new ATHs. What happens when bcashiers spend? Hits the price. People in first world nations (who cares about Africa, Ver) already can spend and buy shit very easily... In the past before the gold standard was thrown out by governments, money also had the role of appreciating in value and thus rewarding you for saving it. Since government fiat is already ridiculously spendable, BTC going after this old function of money guaranteed it would win out over bcash....

If you think about it, most bcashies actually wanted to just hold BCH... They were hoping the spendability narrative would make people want it somehow and thus the price would go up, but they themselves didn't want to actually spend it they wanted to hold it like almost all crypto buyers in general. One example of cognitive dissonance of many they suffer from.

Thank fuck it was proven miners don't control bitcoin.
