None of the copycat projects ultimately really aim to do the same thing that AMPL is trying to do. To be a base currency, to be a lendable/borrowable primitive.

It might not seem appealing to you right now. But if the different DeFi applications and platforms realize the potential of having a non-USD backed money - you WILL find it appealing to jump back in, when everyone is harvesting primo APY by providing liquidity for every imaginable trading pair.
