Because it is, there's no real reason behind this massive pump. Longterm buttcorn is trending up but these tiny bubbles come and go quite randomly.

Because probably less than 100 people control ~90% of the market, both in stocks and crypto. Take everyone on this board, AND everyone on whatever plebbit's investment and crypto subplebbits are, AND team them up with all the middle-class boomers with 401k's. Get them all together and coordinate all their buying and selling, and all their capital perfectly, you would maybe be able to move the price of BTC less than 5%. Massive pumps and massive dumps are just when a handful of those super-wealthy, either by coincidence or design, happen to do the same thing at the same time.

This is why roughly 90% of the time there is no relationship at all between price and news. Coin with solid technology announces partnership with US GOV, Google, and Amazon - pumps 5%. Coin with literally zero use case and obsolete technology on a random Tuesday with no news - pumps 15%. It's just because rich people bought a bunch. Nothing more.
