One of my close family members works with anorexics. A lot of the ones who look like that end up dying after a few months if they don't get help. And even if they do get help they might be damaged for life. A lot of the ones that are really sick can't get cured. If you force feed them they will do ANYTHING to lose weight. And as soon as they get out of hospital they start startving themselves again... and then they get hospitalized again.. and again.. until they eventually die.

It's a very serious mental illness. Not a meme.

My friend, I’ve been alone for so long that it’s no longer a negative thing. You make peace with it, and eventually embrace it as something pleasant. Humans are inherently social creatures, that’s true. But on a deeper level, we’re all alone. I’ve observed in my life that being with other people may stave off loneliness, but only if you are unaware of what’s really going on. Ask yourself: How many people talk to others without ever listening? How many people are really alone in their heads but don’t even realize that’s the case? How many people do things with others merely because that’s what they believe they should do, even though in their soul a yearning for something more? No, being around others means nothing if everyone is living in a state of lowered consciousness and can’t even recognize that the person they’re dealing with is a living being just as them. This is especially true if you happen to be intelligent. It can be difficult to connect with others because the state of mind a smart man occupies is somewhat alien to most people, and as a result they interpret that as something unusual or peculiar. Also if you’re an overthinker, you’ll just overshoot things compared to others because your mind has carried the topic well beyond a cursory thought and if your mind is traveling 100 mph and the other’s mind is at 80, there’s going to be som gaps.
So OP, my advice is to be at peace with the loneliness, or at least try not to see it as an adversary, because it has its merits and can be utilized for a better end.
