Also a lot of people here don't really get how influencer marketing works. They wouldn't be shilling coins, they would be shilling stuff like nordvpn, trezor/ledger, clothing, etc with affiliate programs. The lump sum payment is becoming increasingly rare outside of instagram stories on meme pages, since youtube videos are forever (essentially). Influencers realized if they actually get regular organic views on their videos, then affiliate earnings keep on rolling, whereas a lump sum payment heavily favors the company after a very short period (it just becomes permanent advertisements that lower in cost with every view).
