I do the right thing but buy a little too early. Then it takes longer than I anticipated. Things get better but better opportunities have passed by. I sell but too early.

It just takes longer than you anticipate. It also takes more than you think to make anything when it pays off.

I'm thinking off going for Options that are 2 months long.

Will it all be modest gains for me?

hard to do it right now, everything is in a stage where it is neither cheap enough to buy nor expensive enough to sell.

Sell for a profit. Never buy at full price. Ever.

>> No.24766147

>>24766115
you mean only buy after a crash?

>> No.24766257

>>24766147
I mean only buy what is obviously a discount. Do not buy anything at a reasonable, average, rising ( I could go on and on) price. Find stuff that has taken a hit and buy that when the price is down. It happens to every tradable asset. Dont buy stuff that sits at the bottom of the OTC but go ahead and buy cheap shit loser stuff. If something doesnt have room to go up then dont buy it. If it has room to move but is at average then plan to hold. And when you see your investment will sell at a profit either take that profit or plan to go long. If you do not plan to increase your investments in long positions then sell the entire stake and move the profit in to a discount where you have an expectation of growth. Repeat. Profit. Sometimes you will get stuck holding something that isnt moving up. Oh well. Hold it. Only sell for profit and never sell at a loss. Dont go 100% into anything unless you dont mind potentially having 100% of your book tied down waiting for a gain.

Never sell.
HODL.
Buy the dip but mix with DCA.
Don’t try to time the market on selling. Rarely works.
HODL.
