You agreed to the contract, dude. Did you know you can negotiate contracts? If you have a hard time saving money month to month, you can write in a section saying you can prepay months in advance when you have extra money. You can have it so that when you're short on one month, you can take some of those prepayments and apply them to your current month instead.

My parents are alcoholics who physically abused me as a child. I was kicked out of my house at 18. If I could live with my parents, I would, but you have to realize that is a level of “privilege” in this broken society. I have no other choice but to rent, as living out of a car and working a full time job is not a very viable option, and people who have the social benefits of a stable family are given a heavy leg up in this world. I’ve put myself through college, paid it off, but with everyone so far ahead in the real estate game through inheritances and familial support systems, owning property anywhere worth living seems fairly impossible without some luck and investment sense.

Still working on it, as I was very lucky to be born with an extremely high IQ but the system is broken. I have seen so many people dumber than me succumb to addiction and ruin their lives because it’s just not possible to “make it” if you come from very little and have an average IQ.
