Rebase means the coin's devs can take coins out of your wallet or add coins to it whenever they want. Imagine if USD did this:

Not at all OP. The Rebase system is giving us back supply to target their numbers if things get out of hand. It kind of functions like the elasticity protocol. In essence BASE is functioning like the S&P 500 thus speculating on the market.
