You can get liquidated with as low as 5x leverage, thats why you never touch it. The risk of making a profit past fees is too low but most people aren't aware of the fee structure which gets more brutal with more leverage.
For example if you go long now at 5x, your liquidation would be around 14.5k and if btc goes there you'll get margin called and liquidated.
