Today's news:
>19-year-old Ukrainian politician reports crypto holdings of $24M in Monero
https://cointelegraph.com/news/19-year-old-ukrainian-politician-reports-crypto-holdings-of-24m-in-monero

Welcome to XMR General, dedicated to the discussion of the world's leading privacy-coin!
Because Monero is secure, low-fee, and borderless, people can easily send money despite corrupt and broken governments or banks. This provides economic empowerment of individuals in oppressive countries or depressed economies.
Private financial history protects consumers and companies from price manipulation, supply chain exploitation, economic discrimination, or the like. Monero is the only cryptocurrency that has the features to serve as completely fungible, decentralized, electronic cash.

If you're new, feel free to ask any questions you like and a Monero Chad will be with you shortly.

>At the time, Monero was trading at around $0.50 per coin, meaning that the market price for this acquisition was around $90,000. According to the declaration, this acquisition cost Solod’s family 1.6 million hryvnias (about $65,000, according to the exchange rate in March 2015). The declaration indicates Solod’s Monero holdings as property.

I dca once a month and I am planning on putting in a payment when Bitcoin eventually tests the 20 week moving average. Whether we see Bitcoin drop to 14k though remains to be seen, but the longer it crabs the less likely Monero is to drop below 120 (in fact, Monero will rise in value relative to Bitcoin if this is the case).

Yeah fren. We want you to embrace the beauty of Monero but your complaining about structural problems inherent to early adoption. Either get in on a groundbreaking cryptocurrency by reporting bugs, contributing, and participating in the ecosystem; or wait until enough people have reaped the benefits of early adopt and implemented changes that you desired while missing out on accumulating true anonymous digital cash before price discovery takes hold. The choice is yours. Godspeed.
