Not just that, but a way to control what you spend your coin on. Decentralization is intrinsic to crypto and I don't see that changing. The issue I think with additional oversight/wallet registration will be that it allows enforcement of what you can spend your coin on.

KYC wallets are a good thing, its needed. It's the first step to mainstreaming crypto because without KYC, it's all too easy to steal from people and hack wallets. Security is the biggest thing holding crypto back because every month or so another exchange gets hacked and people get their funds stolen and scammed all the time.
