The easy way I found is to:

1- stay out of your house most of the day
2- not have internet at home and mostly staying out of your house/using your phone's internet
3 - staying busy in general
4 - using internet at home through your phone's hotspot only when absolutely necessary

This is foolproof desu, I'd be out of my house 8AM for work, and would arrive at around 10PM, could only browse my phone, and generally would just browse somethings I liked and go home.

Why do I prefer iPhone?

Because iOS has a very high security standard. All executed code must be signed by Apple and subject to their various mitigations. It’s also worth noting Gecko is famously inflexible and not very 3rd party developer friendly. Look at Gnome Web/Epiphany. They switched to WebKit as it’s far more modular.

The main issue with a browser is it has to run JavaScript and run it fast. This is unsigned code obviously. To run it quickly you have to use JIT just in compilation. JIT allows bypasses to security features like CFI, ASLR, PAC etc. It’s arbitrary executed code.

To mitigate this there’s two options. Disable JIT or harden it. Disabling JIT is fine for 99% of people and they would never notice while their security would be much better. However, that 1% could see speeds crater to 1/2 or even 1/3 if they use very heavy JS tasks like jslinux, webgl gaming, simulations etc. It is also enough for a fast browser to lose to a slower one. It hurts the minority users and effects benchmarks a decent amount.

JIT Hardening is the approach that Apple has taken very seriously for the past 7 years on the hardware level(though most implementations rolled out in the past 4 years in software). Things like execute only memory for the JIT engine and APRR. It’s obviously not perfect, but greatly raises the bar without the costs of disabling.

Gecko wouldn’t run with the sandbox and security mitigations (for example PAC and likely MTE). It would require loosening the security model. Apple is quite good at curation. Only 3 jailbreaks out of hundreds of millions of app updates. It doesn’t make sense to give that security model up completely for something you wouldn’t notice.
