Bonds are the only thing that are probably going to rise during the crash (well, and bear ETFs). The thing is, this is expected to be a **deflationary** crash for complicated reasons that I don't entirely understand, so gold might not survive it (unless you have it physically in case the shit really hits the fan).

There are others (like yours "did I buy the top", indicating a dip after a bullrun) that can be buy indicators (usually for stocks that will either increase by a small amount over time, or continue dipping, generally a little riskier), but I'm not going to spend all day on them.

Generally, certain categories are fucking winners every time during certain periods. Recently, this was EVs, SPACS, and defense/cyper-dystopia stocks like NIO, PLTR, TSLA, etc... this is changing though, so I don't know what the next big thing will be. Maybe medical equipment, FED stocks (like, bonds, fed backed loans, etc...), commercial short-term loans, and poor people stocks (dollar general, walmart, and that one I can't remember that Mark Cuban has that is basically pay-as-you-drive insurance.
