The company detected the software I used to make my mouse wiggle automatically
But I've since found a script that does the same thing in a vbs file, no software required.
A toast! Cheers!

Instead of doing absolutely nothing today, I’ll be chewing my arm off anxiously awaiting the response from an interview I had last week.

Hardly been trained at all, so I've only been able to do the most menial tasks, so 20 minutes a day plus attending meetings only saying anything if I'm directly addressed
Living the dream desu

Okay how do I know if my company is monitoring my activity? I connect through Cisco vpn and have a work laptop. But sometimes I leave it idle and browse my own desktop. Am I being too paranoid?

The company I work for didn’t have a WFH strategy or a good mobile software in place to even WFH.

I’ve been getting paid £2.4K a month doing nothing since March. Due to return back to the office in January

We recently had someone transfer to another part of the company and my manager basically begged us at our last group meeting not to leave. Why would I ever even try? She makes herself seem so pathetic. I hardly do anything, but I also know she'd never fire me for doing bare minimum. I'll give you 30 minutes a day.

I got put onto a new project on lockdown in a higher role, rather than being a code monkey, I now ‘manage offshore resources’. It’s so fucking comfy, I write emails, take a few calls and spend the rest of the day browsing /biz/ and gambling on Binance futures

Work from home bros

>> No.24408296

I'm wfh for like a week now, I was contacted by track and trace (britbong here) and told to stay home. Informed my employer and they basically said no, you should come in.

Anyway after a little discussion was told I could wfh and they'd find me things to do and help out. That lasted a couple days at best and the last few days I've just been sat at my desk literally doing NOTHING, and no one has even contacted me, am I gonna get fired when I return bros?

It was fantastic, thank you.

Pity work is going to be a bit hectic over the next two weeks, but then we get into full holiday time and people taking time off, should be nice and chill. Great time to finish up a couple of moonshot projects we've been planning for a good long while now. Even when we're all WFH the most productive time is when most people are on PTO.
