24364009 No.24364009 [Reply] [Original]

I donated 5$ to a gaming girl the first time in my life.
when I made the donation I was so exited that I did a lot of typos and only said some weird shit about that she should buy chink tech stocks.
I wanted her attention and ask for a date but she said that I am not allowed to spam eventho I have donated now and she gave me a yellow card.
She formed a heart with her hands for me at least.

That is why I put the qualifier around that. I don't think QE is inflationary at all. It POOMPS stocks for convoluted net printing (from erasing defaulted debt from the Fed's balance sheet) but it doesn't increase the overall spending in the actual economy.
QE is quicksand that no country in history has ever escaped.

Retard here, this is my situation

When I was born my grandpa set up a trust fund that would pay for my college tuition and whatever I didnt use I got half at 25 and the other half at 30. I turned 25 last summer and I didnt go to college. My plan was to not really touch this too much as I figure this could probably turn into a healthy retirement but unfortunately covid has completely raped my job and I need a cash injection.

I just dont know which of these to sell, from what I can tell from reading """"market analysts"""" I should just hold on to all of these, most of them seem to be considered overweight. Would it be smarter for me to just shave a little off of all of them?

jesus christ the level of delusion in this post
$200 PLTR would give it a market cap of $320 billion
https://www.dogsofthedow.com/largest-companies-by-market-cap.htm
This would make it larger than NVDA, larger than Home Depot, PayPal, Bank of America - close to the cap of JP Morgan
I want to be clear - I think Palantir is going to go up longterm, but you're absolutely insane retarded if you think it's going to $200, and I thought $100 was peak delusion

Stop using a specific example to defeat the point that market timing is bad for normies, one that you said yourself is a once in a decade event. DOW-J was in free fall by early February, off an ATH only days before... Should everybody sell whenever their portfolio drops 5%? We saw already in the clown market how irrational markets are, it is why market timing is a bad idea for broad fund indexes ect.

You could of sold out on so many things since 2009, if you sold every single time anything bad happens you will lose a lot of potential gains.

The answer to your question does not answer in market timing at all, it lies in risk management, specifically dry powder to take advantage of such events, then sell them ATH and repeat.

But yes, sell everytime anything bad happens anon. If we sold on the US election we'd be rich!

Like if you look at the Forbes top list of richest people would you ever see, next to "entrepreneur" and "innovator": "autist that traded stonks in his mom's basement"? I'm thinking if you had 7000 or 9000 bucks in an account it's better to take 50 dollar profit here, a 35 dollar profit here, a 150 doll profit there, and 18 dollar profit there.

They're small profits but time is worth something.

Break it down by 100 or 500 dollar chunks of account value increasing. Every dollar of profit taking you take is locking down money to keep.

With the elimination of commissions you can actually break even by getting out at the price you paid for a stock position or a few bucks of profit such as 15 bucks of profit which is better than being negative/in the hole.

No, but it's their primary focus. You are expecting them to reach a $320 billion valuation on government contracts KEK

Wars were started to prop up these companies and they have never come close to a $320 billion cap.
