these dumbasses finance a $30k car for 8 years so they can “afford” the $300 payments
i’m not even joking
this is what normies do
then they have to pay full coverage insurance which could cost another $2-300 a month for the full 8 years
most of them are also working a $13 an hour full time job
they could have just bought link and drove a 90s corolla but they choose the debt jew instead

>How do they have x if they cant afford x?

Money is dumped into the economy then the supply of it is constricted. If you aren't a smooth brain you can picture this by the fact all the money is counterfeited and loaned with interest. The interest is never created so it can never be paid back. The supply of money is like chairs in a game of musical chairs. All it takes is a little mythological event like 9/11, 2008 crisis, or a fake virus to wipe millions of people's savings and jobs away.
The oligarchy does this to keep people from getting too comfy and lately they've been doing it to reduce the population.

Ok, so to finally fill you guys in: back in April, the city my mom lives in called and left a voicemail saying "free food at food bank on Friday from 10-2!" I mentioned the message to her, but I was so tired that I never got around to going to get it. She was FUCKING PISSED at missing her "free food".

The next month, they called again, and this time she made DAMN SURE that I went to get it.

So what was in the box? Oh wait, it wasn't "a box", it was six boxes plus a shitload more of unboxed stuff.

One box contained thirty pounds (30#) of precooked meat -- seasoned pork, seasoned chicken, and plain chicken -- in multiple freezer bags. These were restaurant packs that would normally have gone to someplace like a Mexican restaurant.

Another box contained a whole frozen uncooked chicken and a whole cooked spiral-sliced honey ham, as well as other stuff-to-keep-cold like a gallon of milk and half a gallon of orange juice.

Another box was full of various fruits -- apples, oranges, grapes, I forget what all else.

Another box was full of vegetables. Potatoes, onions, bell peppers, cabbage, fucking kale, lettuce, cauliflower, more.

Another box had some convenient canned goods.

Another box had basics like rice, sugar, salt, flour.

The last box had munchies, including two bags of Lay's BBQ Potato Chips, a box of Girl Scout Samoas cookies, some weird corn chip things, and other similar snack foods.

And then there was non-boxed stuff including an entire case of bottled water. Oh, and a $25 gift card "from the Mayor".

Oh yeah, eggs, too. And lots more that I'm forgetting.

So anyway, you can calculate the value if you want. Let's call it $4 per pound for the meat (remember, bacon was $8/lb at the grocery store during this mess because of the meatpacking plants shutting down), so you're looking at close to $150 just for that. The $25 gift card was literally "go buy whatever you want" at a Dollar General store; you could easily resell it if you wanted to. Bell peppers were $1.50 each at the store, so $9 just for those. Potatoes would have been $5 for that bag.

I doubt very much that you could have gotten all that crap in a store for under $300. And they just loaded it into my car trunk without me even having to touch it because OMFG BEERFLU MIGHT KILL US ALL.

Meanwhile, my mother is literally a multimillionaire. Not joking, not LARPing. She's old and she wanted her goddamned free food.

And we could have done it twice more -- the one I missed, and another big handout just before I left. She didn't want it the next time around just because we still hadn't eaten half the stuff from the month before. We had to throw away about a third of the fresh vegetables because we just couldn't eat them before they started to rot. She gave away some of the meat to her friends.

Our usage patterns are such that there's no fucking way we could ever have gone through that much meat. Could've used more eggs, though.

Anyway, so much for "third world" and "only thirty dollars". FFS, the gift card alone was $25 in free money.

Also, my bad, it was only 24lbs of the precooked restaurant meat, I was counting the ham and chicken in pushing it to 30lbs.

Lessee, other things I mentioned included free paper towels, free toilet paper, and a big block of velveeta-like cheese product.

Nice dubdubs! I got 'em too!

I hope yours actually uses the money she saved on food for doing absolutely anything else she enjoys. My mom sits and watches TV all day and survives on cornflakes and tea. She did eat some of the free food, though, so maybe some good came of it. We're honestly worried that she's got malnutrition problems because she refuses to spend money on anything but the most basic foods, just enough to barely survive on.
