It is in no way necessary for corps to enter crypto. However it can be a good advertisement for them to slap crypto onto their brand. A branded stablecoin is a currency and advertisement that shows your customers you will NOT be left behind, that you are looking to the future, that your business is on the cutting edge of tech.

I think of it as a rebranding for your rewards points.
