I believed in it but the damn company sucks at pr, which fudded me out.

You know how random cryptos announce "partnerships" yeah they do that to.
For example when that one crypto announced a partnership with McDonalds and it was obviously a scam (photo of the team in front of a McDonalds) only for McDonald's to tweet that there is no partnership and they just supply them with food.....that the crypto team paid for like a normal customer. That's exactly what this company does evem though their business model looks promising so idk why theyre annoucing these partnerships in such a way that it makes the company look like a scam even though legit from what I can tell. After all that holding and finally selling for small profits they finally decide to freaking moon. Id by up a few thousands. Lost maybe a hundred after fomoing and the stock was purposefully. Dumped fast and hard. Jumped back in, in after hours at a huge premium. They pumped it right bacl up with obvious buy walls lile they did earlier. Except this time it stayed up and I bought back 1/5of my position...

I just dont know anymore. I dont think im gonna make it financially

So is this right about SPACs?
1. They typically get sold as a unit that includes a common share + a warrant for $10
2. The warrant and share can be split and sold over the market, or the full unit traded
3. $10 is refunded if they dont acquire a company (what if I dont like the acqusition target once announced, can I still get $10 back?)
4. Warrants have a strike determined by the prospectus (like 11.50) and are good for 5 years after merger (unlike a leap which is only good for ~2 years)
5. SPAC common shares change ticker after merger and common shares convert over

1,2- they are initially sold as a unit, this trades on the market. Eventually, the unit is split (30 days after trading starts usually as I recall, note that some brokers charge a fee to convert your units into stock + warrant + possibly stock rights (which is a 3rd kind of security those can have), so if your broker does that, you're probably better off waiting post-split to buy in).
3- You can decide to redeem your shares if you don't like the acquisition. The value is approximately $10 + short term treasuries (yes, you get interest even in the case you don't get the acquisition you wanted). This only applies to stock, not warrants/rights.
4- It's all based on the specs, including expiry. Warrants aren't always 1:1 for stocks, either.
5- warrants also change ticker, rights typically don't (they convert into stocks automatically at a specified rate).
