Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas Pliego declares that 90% of his wealth is now in precious metals mining stocks.

"The other 90% of Pliego’s investments are tied up “in precious metals miners,” the billionaire explained in a reply to Dan Held, the Kraken crypto exchange’s growth lead."

Not too shabby! I had my eyes on canada but I'm a bit unsure of the politcal situation to fully move there... unless there are good temporary roles going? Are there mining areas that are bullshit free?

>>24009380
Its on the AIM as SGZ. The UG position is mine operative, so it will be doing the mining and I suppose whatever I'm told needs work.

The books I've found are as follows:
>Hard Rock Miner’s Handbook from Stantec Consulting
Free handbook with basically all the information you'll need to get a very good understanding on hard rock excavation. Do bear in mind that a lot of mining science and numerical work is largely empirical, as every bit of ground on earth is basically unqiue, and so quoted figures are likely to vary with source.
https://www.stantec.com/content/dam/stantec/files/PDFAssets/2014/Hard%20Rock%20Miner's%20Handbook%20Edition%205_3.pdf

>Wills' Mineral Processing Technology
This is the go-to for matters regarding mineral processing. As before, as no two processing plants are the same, some numbers will vary with source.
https://www.sciencedirect.com/book/9780080970530/wills-mineral-processing-technology

If you want something a bit more tricky/academic then I have been recommended this book on geostatistics:
>Geostatistics Explained: An Introductory Guide for Earth Scientists
Should be interesting if you want more information on how statistical modelling is used (with drill data) to plot orebodies and give cut off grades. Free book I think, I see the pdf on a few websites but you may need to register etc.

Henlo frens, have not posted in a long time.

It hurts to see PM's flat for months and miners continually getting bashed. I came here from crypto because I thought PMs might pump before BTC again, but now it seems clear that BTC moon mission in 2021/2022 will proceed the gold/silver moon mission.

I don't regret buying PMs since most of my silver was spot under $20, and most of the gold I bought on credit cards. The miners hurt but I'm not selling. But I recommend to you all, put some of your weekly buys into crypto for the next year and you'll be able to leverage into much more shiny in the long term.

PM's barely moved, some of my cheapies came through, and I got this nice surprise out of nowhere.

I am of the opinion that FPX is worth a lot more then it is currently valued at, even after this run up, and even without a TSLA contract. They are also in my opinion a strong candidate for a TSLA contract in the future as they produce "green: nickel in a safe state, and its concentrated enough to go straight to the factory. All of this is exactly what musk has said TSLA needs.

I'm guessing you're american? I don't know the drill in America but just have a google. good article on business insider called literally "how to get out of a speeding ticket"

You might not win but the point is you can usually reduce your fine, drag it out for months before you have to pay anything and then maybe set a payment plan to spread the cost.

As a youngun you need to learn to have emergency cash set aside for shit like this and so you don't ever have to sell your PMs for fucking speeding tickets.

Dont speed and you wont get a ticket.

That being said, always fight the ticket, either you will get off because the officer cannot always show up, or you can ask for a reduction of 1-20% or more depending on your financial situation they may give you a huge discount.

Wost case scenario is you put off paying it for a few months. Your ticket has instructions on it on how to plead not guilty to the offense, if not, do some google homework on how to plead not guilty to a ticket

Then they mail you something that tells you what court room and time, you show up, be

Quite literally most things are big enough to move PM's should they want to... that is the whole point.

The ENTIRE sector, miners, above ground OZ, and so on, for PM's is so small that if it was all just one company its market cap wouldnt be close to Apples.

PMs and miners are a HATED commodity still, 2% maybe participates in a meaningful way, and most of that 2% is just putting 5-10% of their folios in it because that is the recommended thing to do.

Just look at how hyped BTC is, and all the various other flavour of the month stonks. You never see that with PM's. Even just a small movement towards PM's will have a huge effect on the sector.

Hey bros can you help me out quick? Seems like some decently smart people are in here right now.

After BTC makes its 21 million cap, the amount of bitcoin in the market will start to fall as people accidently lock it in smart contracts forever and die in car crashes without a way to unlock wallets. Meanwhile the demand for money will continue to increase (somewhat) geometrically as India, Africa, and Eastern Europe accumulate more capital. So you are in a situation where you have demand for money increasing while its supply is falling.
Should lead to higher interest rates even as capital is accumulated right? Traditionally, higher amounts of capital lower interest rates because the capex that hasn't already been funded is further and further into the future, so people have to have a lower and lower time preference to invest.
But if you have the quantity of money falling say 0.1-0.5% annually while demand for money (from previously noted regions) in increasing say 5-8% annually, wouldn't you see simultaneous heightening of interest rates with the accumulation of capital?
Is this even possible? No one ever gave any thought to a deflationary currency before because implementing one would be absolutely retarded, but that's what btc ended up being.

>What does it matter? The simple fact is that gold is more scarce than copper if we ignored the fact that there are numerous mining operations that go for gold specifically and not copper it doesn't change the fact that gold is far more scarce than copper which is why gold is far more valuable
wrong. Scarcity doesn't automatically make something valuable. And /pmg/ knows this. There's lots of things that are scarcer than gold and far less valuable.
>Your retarded information is literally worthless to this thread... like what's your point?
My point should be obvious by the number of posts in the thread arguing against simple facts. My point is /pmg/ mostly doesn't understand why gold is valuable, and this scares them. They want to believe it's valuable because it's scarce (it's not particularly scarce), or hard to mine (it usually isn't).
When confronted with these false beliefs they become more defensive than people that sell diamonds for a living when you point out how common diamonds are.

The simple fact is that gold is valuable because it's beautiful, and it has thousands of years of history being used as money pretty much everywhere it's found. This is unsettling to some since it means the price is based on psychology and not much else. And psychology can change. In fact psychology is changing in respect to PM's as we speak.

Jesus christ you're trying to sound smart. If people stopped buying the price would start falling moron. It doesn't matter who does the buying. Miners absolutely follow metals prices over longer time frames because that's how established miners increase their returns on capital. They either adopt better mining practices or the price of metal goes up. GDX has a correlation of 0.23 to the stock market and about a 0.75 correlation to the price of gold.

I base this off current prices.

Basically AUN could pull about 5 millio OZ out, perhaps more, with AISC of about 10 CAD.

If silver is at the current price, this would still, in my opinion, justify a share price 1/5 -1/4 the price of say first majestic since that will be ~1/4 the production of FM.

So thats 4-6$ on that basis, assuming the silver price stays where it is at.

It is entirely possible that AUN will retry its previous prices in the 8-12$ range as well since its share price has been hugely depressed due to the mine being shut down for so long. I know there has been dilution during this period, but even now the market cap is appx 1/4 billion shares/$ cad for a company that can pull 160 million CAD out of the ground every year AFTER AISC are taken out. I think thats pretty low

They also have huge potential to ramp production up past that point, increase the % they get per ton, and if silver price goes up thats obviously great for them

The 200 over spot refers to 200+spot per oz. So in reality if it reads:

200 over spot for a 1/4oz and spot = 1900

the premium is designed to be a lower substitute for taxes on the sale. US recognizes most people use physical gold for tax avoidance so they put a premium on the coin that's lower than the taxes people are avoiding hoping people will pay it.

The premium is largely kept, but It's determined by demand. For example, in march when prices dipped to 13$, premiums skyrockets and the price of actual physical didn't change much. The market all ran for silver, so as a result premiums sky rocketed.

You will largely keep the premium on government coins, but I would stay away from paying premium for generics/private-mint rounds/bars. When you try to sell these they will be counted as "generics" and be given spot or slightly above spot(depending on enviornment).

If you buy eagles, maples, kruggerands, philharmonics or other GOVERNMENT MINTED COINS then the premium will be kept.

Also the pic in OP is a reciept from 2001. Thats why his OZ is only 325.

The key to restoration is that of good preists, monks, and nuns, and cstholic education.

You who shall be the new novels shall be there to abide in good prudence & great responsibility to erect holy foundations of society.

Build cstholic schools, build good cenmomaries, build churches, fund monks, fund nuns.

>Silver weapons
You not only have to find a silver Smith, but also one whose both worked with steel & partnered with blacksmiths.

I've thought of asking someone to make a silver dagger before or even a sword, but the sword is going to be a ridiculous amount of money. If we bought at $3.50 an ounce back in 2004 than this would be completely feasible. Most of us hete weren't even making money back then let alone knew anything about the banking crisis of 2008.

200oz of silver = 1 oz of gold.
If you don't have silver than dont buy gold alone.
Silver backs gold and gold is liquefied in silver.
