BTC properly checks it's code before updates and keeps complexity to a minimum.

inb4 you bring up some decade old shit when btc was in it's early days and no one cared.

Because audits mean everything right?

That shit was audited twice and still was fucked due to complexity of the system.

Code complexity leads to more issues regardless of how many audits something has.

ETH is willing to change its economics on a whim. It will therefore never be as trusted as hard money as BTC.

more serious bugs have been found on BTC than ETH. ETH has been more secure to this date undeniably. btw, I'm not even an ETH maxi. I own both, these are just facts man

It's had eyes on that code for over 10 years with lots of incentive to fuck with the system. Different implementations of BTC has been audited at times. Don't be so disengenous about the security of BTC when we all know it's high.

Don't be jealous either that ETH isn't as valuable or trusted as BTC. I own ETH too, but to expect it to be the one true coin is foolish especially before we even see if ETH 2 works out. ETH has its risks just like BTC and they far outweigh those I see with BTC.

You do you though boss, the best thing about the free market is that you can choose, but sounds like you're just bitter that BTC is more successful than your pet.

BTC had an inflation bug literally in september 2018, after btc hit all time highs man. wtf are you talking about? i have more btc than eth btw

>> No.23938292

Btc is of course a good hold but eth does 1000x more. Holding Btc and not holding eth is one of the dumbest things you can do.

Well then you don't even believe in your own logic or at least admit the market doesn't agree with that line of thinking.

most of the people buying and selling bitcoin have no idea about the technical side of things. Ethereum has been the more secure network, objectively. of course BTC is still king right now, but you're covering your eyes by saying "BTC HAS THE LARGEST MARKET CAP SO ITS THE BEST AND MOST SECURE SEE!!!"
