less than a week to Big Payday. crazy to think it's been not even a year since Hex launched, and is already a top 10 crypto by market cap and has generated returns of over 200x from the all-time low.

even more surprising is that we're only a couple days out fro BPD but only about 12% of the supply is staked. I would have thought it'd be closer to 90% as everyone wants their BPD bonus. maybe we'll see massive staking the day before or something, though I hope not since fewer stakers means more BPD bonuses for me.

RH is probably holding a significant portion of the Hex due to eth recycling in the AA and the OA siphoning penalties etc.

I think the idea is that even though the supply is in the billions, he wants most of the coins to be in his control and in effect "burned" so that the price can spike up mad fast. Hes talked about the principle before in livestreams, how with BTC so many coins are simply not in circulation yet still contribute to market cap valuation. Its having the best of both worlds.

His recent debeers tweet pretty much confirms it imo. He wants a huge portion of the hex under his control so it doesn't go back to stakers who may dump it and suppress the price.

Copycat projects historically never fare very well, usually attracting people who missed the initial boat and want a quick 10x.
