Are you going to be one of those 25k people? Or will you stay poor forever for doubting the digital sheikhs?

I was going to sell my $OCEAN for this but the shilling has me double thinking.. You guys won't dump on me right? And is it even worth doing this trade?

Who would sell the bottom before it gets listed on every us exchange and pumps past 1000$ in 2021?
iExec has a data marketplace too, ocean seems obsolete.

I'm new to this shill, and only asking because you anons actually bother to make OC for it.. Why is decentralized cloud computing which apparently needs a scarce expensive token to function, a good idea.. If you want to just link me to something that is fine too.

You don't need any of these chuck e cheese tokens.
However, if you WANT a truly decentralised alternative, which happens to be cheaper, then you can use iExec

Yep, you're definitely going the "buy" the new defi coin badger finance. it's certainly not the token founder giving you some as part of the team's "marketing allocation", no very organic.

An established open marketplace which allows not only you, but also corporate players to buy and sell computational power, and use said purchased computational power to compute jobs such as a blender render (see pic attached), or rent out AI datasets (https://builders.intel.com/ai/membership/iexec)), or using a native dapp that calculates a future price estimate of a stock for you (this once existed in the dapp store but is no longer available, not sure why) is a pretty big deal IMO.
All these things are not doable on current centralised cloud service infrastructure (not to my knowledge at least). Now. as for the RLC token itself. RLC is the key for which allow you access to the compute nodes on the network. You cannot submit jobs to the nodes for them to process unless you pay them in RLC. It serves as a binding contact between the issuer and the worker. As more jobs start pouring into the network, the asking price of RLC will go up by the workers due to the demand of jobs rising, and RLC itself will be cut up like BTC, ETH, etc to compensate for workers with lower computationally heavy workloads. This will in turn have an effect on the RLC/USD pairing price.
Also another thing worth mentioning is that Gilles Fedak (iexec CEO) has been involved in this area of computing since 2001! (https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/923246))
The team are all highly experienced, and there are some serious partnerships going on behind the scenes (DYOR hehe).
Good luck anon, if you decided to not buy in that's on you, but if you want high level access to the future world computer and have the computational power of a god you better buy in NOW.
