No one is debating legality. Also, no, he's not saying heroin is worse. I agree about the shitcoin, but ETH has been nothing but fraud and broken claims since at least The DAO. He keeps hardforking it to fix problems and undo transactions. Now he's pushing some massive new change just for the fun of it. Any time anyone actually uses it for its "world computer" platform, the whole system grinds to a halt as "gas" fees explode, see CryptoKitties for example.

Its core fault is that it's centralized. You can pretend it isn't, but whatever Vitalik wants to do, you guys eat up like shit-eating dogs. And he's just playing around with whatever shiny idea catches his mind at the moment.

I wish I'd bought in when I had thought about it; I would have made a few hundred thousand dollars if I had. But that doesn't change the fact that in the long run ETH is going to be utterly fucked because it's just a toy in the hands of a toddler with ADHD.
