Is it wrong not to have any bitcoin if my portfolio is only a few k? I'm mostly in LINK and ETH.

>> No.23775665

I'm all in with 200 LINK and 1 ETH, no bitcoin

Only retards buy BTC. It has no use case except "hurr durr it's scarce so price go up"

if youre interested in having a part of your portfolio go up 1% every month i guess you should have btc then

>> No.23775813

you might as well be in the stock market at this point the gains are so small with BTC

bitcoin has the ability to 2-5x fairly easily over the next couple of years. it's no eth but btc still has way more upside than the stock market, unless you are great at picking winners.

>> No.23776520

btc was a good investment previously, buying now i don't think is a great idea compared to link and eth, much more potential

How many times does the 4 year cycle need to happen before you realize Bitcoin is the heartbeat of this entire industry?

>> No.23776602

Eth is insanely undervalued. Buy it and hold. Same goes for bitcoin. Ive added about 500 a month to bitcoin for awhile now and I own 2.4 btc (had 1.6 to begin with). I just look at it as an investment more than a quick grab scheme. The people here telling you not to invest into btc are the link or xrp poorfags that think day trading crypto is some sort of beneficial way to make money when in reality they've probably lost more than they've made. People here are impatient and dumb, anon.

>> No.23776648

Yeah higher percentage gains in other stuff

Lower priced coins have a lot easier time going to a higher price than bitcoin doing a 10x

yes go all in on a promising alt. pick the winner.

my bet is on RSR.

The stench of new faggotry itt. BTC isn’t optional. If you don’t understand this yet you will learn in due course.

True, I learnt my lesson in 2017/18, been only buying BTC ever since. I'm now well over my initial investment

You dont understand btc or crypto as a whole if you think this and you should study and gtfo biz. To get you started read the bitcoin standard.

i have 32k LINK and 64 ETH, but not BTC. I want a whole BTC< but cant bring myself to part with my LINK or ETH for it and dont make enough money to buy a BTC outright

I mostly want a BTC as a status symbol though

i have $4k is it even fucking worth to go all in btc? I'm all in a promising shitcoin right now

>> No.23776874

>>23776829
The shitcoin might retain USD value, but will die a slow death when paired against BTC. In order for there to be a big alt season we need huge hype and retail FOMO and that's just not here this time around:

>> No.23777595

>>23776874
That's only true for shitcoins. If you find an alt that's gonna x10 or x50 or more, bitcoin isn't going to do that any time soon. At these values (and with the impending eth v3) even ethereum would be a much better investment than btc just now, if you're going for something high priced.

>> No.23777883

>>23777595
Square, Paypal, MicroStrategy aren't going to rotate into Shitcoin Du Jour. You need serious retail FOMO like 2017 if you want to see crazy pumps. I just don't see any retail engagement at this point, until that changes I'll stay in BTC. Anything that isnt BTC is a shitcoin.

>> No.23777966

Chainlink is more important than BTC, sorry anon, deal with it

>> No.23778004

ETH will eventually flip bitcoin and bring LINK along with it. Honestly the boomers holding bitcoin are going to look so stupid when that happens

Do you understand portfolio construction? Let's say you allocate 5% to BTC. It doesn't matter how much BTC that is, what matters is that you put 5% of your money in BTC every time you add money to the heap.
