Ding ding ding! How did everyone do this week? I'm up 3.21% today, call that one the "delayed gains" kekkies, more than makes up for yesterday's slow performance. Sold covvies that expire remarkably soon, premiums cood be better, wish it didn't take so long to juice the premiums up.
Indices AND gold close in thick volume at the tip-top of their current range. Kinda spooky going into the weeked, would have preferred to see them break through. Now I want the index to break up and gold to break down kek. DXY is conversely, at the bottom of it's range, extreme danger zone. Be alert to it taking a tumble and piling into shinies in the next week :o
This week we're going to the Romano's in Cairo, Egypt! Beware the Templar who bears the sign of the scorpion, watch for his shadow under the pyramids @_@

I don't want to touch NET and my cost basis on NIO is only $18 so I'm letting that ride a little longer. Time in the market beats timing the market etc etc. I usually don't sell positions but realized these past two crashes since September that I really would do better selling now and then to have more liquidity during dips.

Aside from a huge chunk of the internet, including the very site you're using, relying on its services?

https://blog.cloudflare.com/introducing-cloudflare-one/amp/

They announced this recently which was the catalyst for it's pumps. It makes work from home easy and affordable for all businesses to roll out. If you're betting the future will be work from home being the new norm, then NET is a no-brainer. They're constantly expanding their services and consistently deliver on quality. >Two and a half hours of these men arguing, every now and again the knight leaves the store and comes back; each time stronger, older, and more decorated of a soldier. The potion seller himself grew older as well, taking on a young apprentice that would ask why they did not just give the knight a potion every time. The potion seller would shush him, in all his great magic he knew something no one else did.
>In the final scene they are both old men, the potion seller now an fantastical wizard and the knight the king of the country. The king begs for the strongest potions still, looking to keep strength to rule his kingdom longer and to give his people all he could. The knight broke down once more, begging the wizard, his voice choking in desperation.
>The wizard smiled slyly, his wrinkled round face looking like a mask finally coming off. And in that true smile the kings heart flutters, excited as he thinks he will finally get what he desires.
>"You never needed any of my potions, Traveler, the moment you walked in I could foresee your success." As the wizard speaks the camera leaves the shop, showing a beautiful, healthy kingdom. And as the light fades out, just before the credits begin, the word success can be heard in a final hiss.
>The end scene at the end of the credits shows the two old and withered men shaking hands. The knight saying "You really are a rascal" with a friendly smile before it goes black once more.

Basically it means wealth is be concentrated in one area. SPY is 500 companies, QQQ is only 100. That means those 100 companies MASSIVELY out performed the ENTIRE MARKET. It could indicate some sort of bubble. Truth is though, that its not even all 100 of those companies, its only maybe the top 10-20 companies. Seems rather perilous.

The obvious pick would be AMD. They just launched there 5000 series CPUs and their bottom shelf chip BTFO of Intel i9 10900k with less power consumption.

I sold most of my tech today, they hit my ridiculously high covered calls which usually means its a good exit. The triple top indicates limited profit potential, so a long term sell off may occur. Considering we went from -30% to +30% in less than a year, the opportunity to profit has probably been mostly exhausted in the short term and it would be better to find value elsewhere.

So one anon was talking about how to determine how much leverage you get with options. I believe the formula he gave to determine leverage was:
(delta x strike)/premium paid
So I'm gonna use PLTR as an example. If I were to purchase the Jan 20/2023 $5 call: the delta at market close is 0.9344 and the ask price is 10.50. If the above formula is correct, does this mean that this call would give me 44x leverage? I'm retarded pleased help.

Probably the instruction per clock due to the architecture. If I'm not mistaken Intel takes the approach of making CPUs with lots of hardware dedicated to running instruction that can do a lot fast (like, vectorisation, branch prediction, AVX stuff that work on 256 and even 512 bits at once instead of the usual 128), while ARM CPUs focus on a simpler instruction set so equivalent operations may take many more clock cycles to run on an ARM CPU.

Institutions are adding in the $10-$11 range which is still pretty much liquidation value ($700 million cash in Q2, $200m in 2021 debt and $200m in 2023 debt) with MSFT revenue stream not priced in
the numbers on this are so obvious that even /smg/ jumped in on it even though nobody here was memeing retailers before

Your worst case scenario is that GME ends up being a value trap so your downside is far lower than saying FOMOing into NIO right now
GME should be valued at around 0.15x of revenues so far, while NIO is something like 50x. If you wanna FOMO into something, pick the one that's still a value pick

Just make sure you have an exit strategy. If GME still can't do a turnaround by Q4, it's fucking hopeless and you should bail

I talked with some friends in countries biggest PC store and apparently they still haven't gotten their orders confirmed for 6000 series cards, and have no idea when they will arrive. Might be less cards than RTX 3000.
