I'm not a stonk expert but I bought Corsair stock (500 dollars so a baby investment so I won't get fugged if election shit/civil unrest crashes the market) a month ago and right now it's up like 50%, if we assume that rate of return holds I'll nearly quadruple my investment by this time in January.

It was right after the IPO so it was pretty low compared to its max potential and right now tech stocks are in a retarded bubble so I'm guessing people are just going to go for 'altstocks' like corsair since most can't afford/think TSLA is at the top right now, which means getting in early lets you get a nice pump from dumb dumbs who fomo in.

Maybe if you're talking about "what can their tech do for the mars colonies in 2050" then yeah, you're right, but on the basis of profits vs. valuation of their stock price they're clearly retardedly overvalued and only being pumped by the same people who mindlessly fomo'd in to shit in 1929 and 2008 and 1998 and all the other horrible depressions/recessions.

There's longterm potential but the question is at what point does the "maybe I can be a millionaire in 50 years" mentality wear off and people realize their shit isn't actually as valuable in 2020 dollars as they think. The price will correct at some point, there is no 'new paradigm'.
