We know it is Quant. Their Overledger Network will power the interoperability of CBDCs.

This is why MIT, Intel and Quant are writing up the ODAP specs on the IETF. They are documenting an abstracted spec for what Overledger provides.

That’s the most retarded advice I’ve ever heard. If you knew the roots of XRP/Opencoin you would understand why XRP is chosen. All these years, all the partnerships, all the speeches, all the meetings, all the NDAs. it takes years to get to where XRP is right now, there’s no way it would take a couple months for a “young coin” to be mentioned by POTUS and the IMF.

CBDC's are about control so the more centralized the better. Although they can include some decentralized shit like LINK as long as the main mechanism still has some centralized part.
Anyway it doesn't matter, Central Banks must be defeated, I give them 50 more years. But make no mistake it will be hard won.

>> No.23700270

I think that Bitcoin will benefit the most. If CBDC's are the stablecoins (inflationary fiat), then Bitcoin will be the de facto store of value coins. This seems pretty obvious to me, when Central Bank *Digital Currencies* are deployed, everyone is going to capitulate into accepting more and more the ever growing digital landscape. Bitcoin becomes the next logical place to look as an investment. As Michael Saylor has pointed out, it will not only replace gold, but be much better than gold for this purpose. You also have all of the recent developments with institutions giving it the green light, along with the necessary legislative workings that have been developing at a rapid pace lately. I think this is basically impossible to argue with.

Beyond that I've heard XRP could be used as some sort of "interledger" but it's a side bet long shot. Can anyone shill me on this scenario as I may buy a small bag.

Ripple invented the inter ledger protocol and distributed ledger technologies. Ripple gifted DLT to the keepers of the internet (WWWC) and now for some reason the poor linkies think DLT means chainlink. Every time you hear DLT it’s XRP. Literally patented by them and gifted to the world. XRP is on demand Liquidity, it’s a bridge assets for CBDCs. They’re so fucking early to everything, imagine creating a bridge asset for a difit asset class that doesn’t exist yet AND patenting custodianship technologies for banks to hold digital assets before they could. Do not turn your back on XRP.

Is there a non-schizo resource/video of some sort that covers this?

Also, in terms of price action - why would XRP go up or down based on this scenario playing out? Might be a stupid question but why would you buy XRP?

Also, wouldn't the Fed just rip this off as Ripple is basically just a little fintech company?

And I've heard that the Fed will simply add legislation to an existing stablecoin and use that as the CBDC - any thoughts?

CBDCs are fucking crypto. That means they can be programmed, atomic swapped, are immutable etc. Just like ETH only the supply is controlled by the central bank.

To get the real benefits from a CBDC you need a DLT operating system like Quant. What do you think happens to the QNT price when every fag on the planet is using it to move their CBDCs?

The central banks have realized the technological strength of the various teams competing & assisting each other within crypto. What they will be forced to do is utilized the software to run & enhance their legacy systems. The amount of development behind the scene is tremendous, as various projects build off of one another (base layer > layer 2 (various applications) > layer 3 ( even more applications & use cases)

Ripple is in the 2020 disruptors list, there are ex Fed and ex Bankers working at Ripple, it’s not a small “fintech” company like basically every single erc20. I highly recommend the YouTube Chanel Kevin Cage, he’s always been pro diversification and he points out the facts and connections with no schizo shit. Only recently has he public announced that he’s shifted the majority of this portfolio for XRP, he thinks it’s going to over take bitcoin by a long shot and it will be stable.

From what I understand, just because CBDC's are digital currencies it doesn't mean they have to rely on blockchain or cryptography. It just means the Central Bank controls it (they could give you different interest rates based on your age etc.).

Blockchain tech is used in crypto. Blockchain allows for more efficient, decentralized, safer, and most importantly transparent transactions.

Yes obviously want to keep some of their accounts private for good reason. Have a private blockchain. These chains can then communicate with public chains the same way Ethereum communicates with btc.

BTC is starting to take centerstage around financial institutions globally. I just think whoever resists these changes will be left behind. And no one wants to. The same way no one wants to take the first step.

I'm digressing. But if you don't think Blockchain is gonna stay for the future. You should think again.
