Swash: https://market.oceanprotocol.com/asset/did:op:b07a8bb80242752ce164560ABCb6517DA90a4F65

Thalus AI: https://market.oceanprotocol.com/asset/did:op:B8334421ec9086BdaAEaDf48EAaf3B435eA1df70

Amazon products pool is legit, but not a partner with Ocean and has a higher swap fee: https://market.oceanprotocol.com/asset/did:op:a2B8b3aC4207CFCCbDe4Ac7fa40214fd00A2BA71

Buy Ocean on an exchange (KuCoin, Binance, et al.).

Send to a wallet (I use TrustWallet), link wallet with Metamask (add a Custom Token - the address is 0x967da4048cD07aB37855c090aAF366e4ce1b9F48 - the symbol is OCEAN - and the Decimals of Precision is 18).

You will need ETH in your wallet to pay for transaction fees.

For now, during Beta, stick with the verified partner pools - Swash and Thalus. The Amazon Product Pool is not a partner, but is trusted by the Ocean devs (they tweeted about it). More verified partner pools are coming very soon.

The verified partners won't do rug pulls, so they are safe. Price (in Ocean) will, of course, fluctuate as people take profit - just like any other coin/token - so don't panic if it drops after you jump in, just wait for the next pump.

Awesome!

> I just wait for more to get added and then take it out whenever I want?

Yep, it's just like buying/selling any other crypto. Just make sure that if you're going to jumping in and out of pools you have enough ETH in your wallet to cover transaction fees. They can add up if you do it a lot.

Also take note that things are a little quiet tonight because people are spooked about a market crash after the election tomorrow.

These pools can seem dead for a while, then have massive pumps when you least expect them.

Best is to follow them on Twitter and also follow the Ocean team and the Farm Ocean Telegram channel (I posted links above).

Other than that, you just have to keep an eye on the market - they have a section that lists new pools.

New semi-official dataset catching on

Micro: https://market.oceanprotocol.com/asset/did:op:2B7485461E1d1aD5DCD6F005C5233e43932602Bd

It was discovered that dataset author owns less than 5% of his own pool and is followed by Bruce Pon on twitter.

The earlier you get in the better.
The well established datasets are pretty stable in the amount of ocean they contain.

>> No.23695849

The following dataset has semi-official backing from Ocean.

- The Twitter account of the data publisher is followed by Bruce Pon and jamie burke.
- Both Trent and Bruce liked the tweet where the data publisher announced their dataset
- The publisher only owns 5% of the pool so there's lower incentive to rug

Looks pretty decent fundamentals before the newer official datasets come out.

Then explain how you can increase your coins without the data even ever being sold. Explain why you can have more coins if you pull out the earlier you are in while the one who comes late gets holding the bad. Stop trying to play semantics nigger, it is what it is you dipshit - a pyramiding scheme.

because you also get a percentage of the pool amount. imagine that, two things can be true at once. so, it is advantageous to not only discover a dataset early, but also one that has a use case that some data buyer can utilize. in no way was I playing some semantic game, you just don't know what you're talking about
