depends what youre trying to do. with that kind of capital you could get yourself some decent rental property if you know where to look, a smaller franchise, or if you have a skill or ability, you could flip that into something (such as an online business or selling use cars.)
If you don't want to use it immediately, you could use it as a safety net just in case you fail or go find a REALLY cheap place to live and could live off it for a couple years. if youre able to find an apartment that's typically used for fixed income families (or the projects) you could easily live for 5+ years off 50k
My biggest advice is DO NOT GAMBLE IT
it is not worth it

depending on how good your hussle is, buy extremely cheap bulk sale shit from Alibaba.com (here's easy peddling https://m.alibaba.com/product/1600134725533/Cute-ceramic-cups-creative-with-lid.html?spm=a2706.8172434.mod-recommend-list-product-new.11.123648dacWcJxc&__detailProductImg=%2F%2Fs.alicdn.com%2F%40sc01%2Fkf%2FH1501d5b3b2d94c2db28a895559a5280eo.jpg_220x220.jpg_q50.jpg )
and try and sell each one for a significant mark up. you have to buy 2000 minimum for around $1.50. If you are a good salesmen, you can get reasonably $3-$5 for each one, effectively (potentially) turning $3,500 worth of goods into $7,500
